Star Wars in ASCII – Watch a Movie From your Command Prompt

2 June 2008 612 views 4 Comments

This is certainly one of the coolest things I have EVER seen. It must have taken Simon Jansen a lot of time to make – a FULL-LENGTH movie in ASCII? I can’t believe it..

Well then, enough hype.  Let’s get to business.

Go to Start -> Run and type telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl

Enjoy!

Note: The movie doesn’t have any color or sound, but the subtitles will make everything clear enough.
