When you type something into the address bar and press Ctrl + Enter, you will be automatically taken to http://www.something.com.
This is a very useful , you’ll thank it from saving you from typing in all those www.’s and .com’s when you just want to get to somewhere. Fast.

So, the next time you’re surfing in and need to close something fast, remember – Ctrl + W !

This is a good idea if you want to save both desktop and hard drive space.
To remove the Recycle bin from your desktop, go to Start > Run and type gpedit.msc
Go to User Configuration > Administrative templates > Desktop > Remove Recycle bin icon from desktop
Enable it and reboot or type gpupdate.exe into the run box to apply changes.
If you want to completely remove the Recycle Bin, go to Start > Run and type regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\BitBucket/C and open NukeOnDelete. Change the value to “1″ and reboot.

This is probably one of the coolest things I’ve posted here so far. With any cheap webcam and a free piece of software from IBM, you can move your cursor, click, type text with an on-screen keyboard and much more – just by moving your head.
What you need:
1. a head (duh)
2. a webcam
3. Head tracking pointer by IBM

I’m surprised that many people don’t actually know this, and reach for their camera to take a picture of the current screen image.
Most keyboards have a special button Prt Scr / Sys Rq on them. It’s just to the right from F12. When pressed, it captures the current screen into a bmp image which can be pasted (Ctrl + V) into any image editing software. Even Paint will do.
